Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop training programs and curriculum for teachers, incorporating best practices in pedagogy and educational technology.
- Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in education to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for current and aspiring teachers.
- Provide engaging and interactive instruction on teaching methodologies, classroom management, and subject-specific strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback to help participants enhance their teaching skills and address areas for improvement.
- Guide teachers in pursuing continuous professional development opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Offer one-on-one mentorship to teachers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment among the faculty and participants.
- Publish articles, papers, or resources related to teacher training and education.
Required Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
- Extensive teaching experience in the subject area or a related discipline.
- Understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to tailor training to meet individual needs.
- Ability to convey complex educational concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Flexibility to adapt training methods to different audiences and educational contexts.
- Openness to incorporating feedback and making continuous improvements to training programs.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in education or the subject discipline.
- Substantial experience as a classroom teacher in various educational settings.
- Prior experience in teacher training, curriculum development, or educational leadership roles.
- Relevant teaching certifications and additional certifications in educational leadership or training are advantageous.
